Join Lauren Kemple of Backyard Wildcraft, for a morning of smooshing and simmering plant parts into exquisite colors! We’ll make gorgeous black ink from oak galls (those funny balls that grow on oak trees) and one other color of locally sourced ink. Feathers that have been dropped by local wild turkeys will become our quill pens. You’ll get hands on learning, handouts, two inks to take home, a quill pen of your own making, and a journal for taking notes.
